Musterer hurt in fall from horse

A musterer on Molesworth station was flown out by helicopter to Hanmer Springs last evening after he fell from his horse. The musterer suffered internal injuries in the accident, which occurred on the Pack Track near the banks of the Clarence River.

He was picked up about 6.30 p.m. by a Hughes 500 helicopter piloted by Mr Noel Boyd, of Kaikoufa, and flown to Hanmer Springs. From there the injured man was taken by St John Ambulance to Christchurch Hospital, where late last evening he was believed to be in a satisfactory condition.
