Books gift by society
PA Wellington The Alexander Turnbull Library in Wellington has received a donation of 350 books written by women.
The New Zealand Women Writers’ Society gave the library the books because the society has no permanent headquarters where they can be kept and read by members.
The . books, dating back 50 years, have been written and autographed by society /members. They include novels,. plays, poetry, biographies, light romances, and regional histories.
