Weather terms
Sir, — Should the wording of weather forecasts be changed? Further dry spells in drought conditions with high fire risk and threatened agricultural production can hardly be described as “fine.” The implication is that wet weather is not good. There should be some recognition of rain and the importance it has for New Zealand so that we all value . and protect it. — Yours, etc., MRS J. T. KITNEY., . November 21, 1982.
