Talks on college space
Parliamentary reporter
Discussions were being held with the Christchurch Teachers' College Council to determine exactly how much spare space would be available at the college, the Minister of Education, Mr Wellington. has told Parliament.
Once the Education Department knew that, negotiations would be held with groups that would be interested in making use of it. Mr Wellington said that until the negotiations had been completed, he could not indicate who would be likely to occupy the unused space at the college. The department planned to make full and economic use of the space, he said.
