Road work efficiency
Sir,—l would like to extend my thanks and congratulations to all those at present involved with the realignment work in Aidwins Road. Having spent more than 20 years driving virtually all over the southern half of the South Island, I have encountered numerous road works in both town and country but never have I experienced such major work being carried out with such a minimum of disruption to traffic. I have to use the route twice a day and would like those concerned to know that one motorist at least really does appreciate the and courtesy'displayed by all concerned. — Yours, etc., ■ A; R. FORDE.
