Igor Stravinsky's first fullscale working draft of “The Rite of Spring" has been sold for £330.000 (?NZ560.000). The auctioneers, Sotheby’s, said that it. had been a world record price for an auction of anv musicial manuscript, beating the money paid for a Debussy manuscript of “Pelleas et Melisande” in New York last May.—London.
