Mark Loane scores try
NZPA Oxford The Australian rugby test player, Mark Loane, scored a try for the star-studded Stanley’s XV in the customary high-scoring match against Oxford University yesterday.
The visiting team, which also included the present England wing, David Trick, beat Oxford, 38-30. Oxford’s captain, a former Australian test player, Phil Crowe, had to leave the field at half-time with concussion.
