N.Z. table tennis teams
PA Wellington The Table Tennis Association yesterday named teams to compete at the Commonwealth and World championships next year. Men: Barry Griffiths (Auckland), James Morris (Northland), Peter Jackson (Auckland). Morris is captain. Richard Lee (Auckland) is the non-travelling reserve. Women: Christine Lee (Auckland) and Jan Morris
(Canterbury). Morris is captain, and Shelley Palmer (Auckland) is the non-travelling reserve. The manager is Nelson Tizard (Wanganui) and the coach-adviser is Geoff Rau (Franklin). The Commonwealth tournament will be staged at Kuala Lumpur from April 18-22, followed by the world championships at Tokyo from April 28-May 9.
