No F.O.L. help for Poles
PA Wellington The Federation of Labour's executive has decided not to help in the organisation of Polish Association protests planned to commemorate the first anniversary of martial law's being introduced in Poland on December 13.
However, the President of the F.0.L., Mr W. J. Knox, said that all associated with the F.O.L. hoped for an early return to normal life in Poland. He said the executive wanted to see all trade unionists, including the Solidarity leader, Lech Walesa, released from confinement.
