Woodchips taken at library
Sir, — One wonders what the world is coming to when an elderly couple in a new car pull up outside the new library in Oxford Terrace, get out their shovel and sacks, fill them up with woodchips used in the landscaping there, load up and away. All this happened at 2 p.m. on Labour Day as many people walked past. If this car had been an old beaten-up car it would not have been so surprising, but a new car? Where did the money for the new car come from? Yours, etc.,
K. J. DEAN. October 25, 1982.
