Ex-P.M, cremated
The body of Pierre Mendes France, the former French Prime Minister, has been cremated at Pierre Lachaise Cemetery in a simply ceremony attended by members of his family and close friends. Mr Mendes France, the post World War II leader who ended France’s war in Indochina, was aged 75. — Paris.
