C.E.R. pig talks

PA Auckland Two pig marketing officials will try this week to initiate talks between pig producers in New Zealand and Australia. The chairman of the Pig Marketing Board; Mr Denis Lepper, and the deputy chairman. Mr Denver Glass, will try to determine how pig-farmers in both countries can benefit from the closer economic relationship. Before they left Auckland for Australia yesterday. Mr Lepper said he would tell the commercial, pig industry there that New Zealand pig farmers had virtually no support from the Government. The Australian industrybelieved New Zealanders received subsidies, and he would "put the record straight."
