Schools’ running
Thirty-five teams of runners from 15 Christchurch schools have entered the Big M inter-secondary school road championships to be held on a circuit of the Avon loop next Wednesday.'
The teams are limited to 10 runners, with four to count. The junior boys and girls and the senior girls will compete over a 3km course, while the senior boys will run skm.
Among those competing will be the Canterbury intersecondary school senior boys cross-country champion, David Kett, of Shirley Boys High School. Kett. is . the national secondary school senior boys track champion over 3000 m.
