Golfing aid for hospital
The Princess Margaret Hospital looks set to receive $2500 of cardio-pulmonary resuscitation training equipment after a golf and fund day at Tai Tapu yesterday. The event was organised by the North Christchurch Zonta Club to raise money for the equipment. A publicity officer for the club, Mrs Joan Devlin, said yesterday that up to $3OOO could have been raised. A final figure would not be known for several days. The money will buy video equipment to help to train people in cardio-pulmonary resuscitation techniques. A golf tournament, barbecue, raffles, and activities for all ages were held.
