Cameron fined
PA Dunedin Robert Cameron, the season's leading reinsman. was fined $5O for miscounting the number of rounds in the OTB Pace at Forbury Park on Saturday evening. Cameron drove Jacoby, which dropped out to last after leading to near the 900 metres.
In the same event. Honest Advice was pulled up. after plunging shortly after the start of the-race, and snapping a new crupper: while Isotronic paced roughly and tangled inside the closing 200 metres.
Jim Morgan was fined $2O for failing to notify the T.A.B. the driver for Gold Rush in the Air N.Z. Pace. The club advised on Thursday that Robert Cameron was driving Gold Rush but the horse was driven by Murray . Hamilton. Cameron drove Mein Princess, which was advised as to be driven
by J. Crooks. No reason was’ given why the change was permitted. Changes of the drivers were permitted for Song Lord and Superior Fella and the first leg of the T.A.B. treble, but no reason was
given in the judicial report.
