Ravensdown strike ends
Members of the Chemical fertiliser Workers’ Union employed by the Ravensdown Fertiliser Co-operative, Ltd, in Dunedin, returned to work on Friday afternoon after a brief strike.
They- walked out on Wednesday when a mouse was discovered in a locker room nibbling a man’s lunch. They returned on Thursday but struck again when, the company would not pay them for Wednesday's lost time. They went back to work yesterday .afternoon after new lockers were provided and the company had agreed to talk about other grievances.
