Cyclists’ triumph
NZPA Bundaberg New Zealand cyclists dominated the Commonwealth Games “warmup" international meeting at Bundaberg on Saturday, night, winning all five races. Australia. without its champion, Kenrick Tucker, could not match the New Zealanders’ superior teamwork. Tucker has been ill and was not fit enough to take part in the meeting. New Zealanders Anthony Cuff and Graeme Miller shared the five wins between them in handicap, scratch, derby, miss and out. and points score events. In spite of the top performance by the visitors. Australia's Martin Vinnicombe was the only rider to equal the Bundaberg track record of 11.8 seconds, joining Tucker and Australian Steve Goodall as joint holders.
