Table-tennis success
The Shirley Boys’ High School team of Tim Hanrahan. Darren Entwhistlc and Karl Entwhistle won the Canterbury secondary schools teams' table-tennis competition at the Selwyn Street hall vesterdav.
Shirley beat Burnside High School. 3-2. in the final to qualify for a place in the ' South Island finals in Dunedin next week. The intermediate competition was won by Cathedral Grammar.
