Davis Cup venue?
PA Wellington New Zealand tennis administrators have again delayed deciding where the filial of the Davis Cup will be played if New Zealand beats France. Three venues — Merton Road and Eden Park in Auckland and Wilding Park in Christchurch — are
in contention. The final will be played in New Zealand if New Zealand beats France in the semifinal at Aix-en-Provence on October 1-3. The other finalist will be the winner of the United States v. Australia semi-final at Perth at the same time.
