Nelson Bays wins rugby
PA Nelson Nelson Bays beat West Coast. 23-15, in a South Island second division championship rugby match at Motueka yesterday. The rival fullbacks, Paddy Callesen, with 15 points, and Wayne • Gugich, with 11, dominated the scoring.
West Coast had little possession but managed to lead 12-10 just after half-time. However, Nelson Bays got its act together and rattled up 13 points to run out convincing winners. Scorers: Nelson Bays (W.
