Sport Rosberg leads G.P. standings

NZPA Dijon-Prenois. France Keke Rosberg, of Finland, is now at the top of the world drivers’ Formula One championship standings, after his Swiss G.P. victory. The drivers’ championship remains a very tight race after Sunday’s results. Rosberg leads with 42 points, followed on 39 by Didier Pironi (France), who crashed his Ferrari practising for the West German grand prix and is out for the season with injuries. Prost has 31 points, Lauda and team-mate John Watson (Britain), 30 each and de Angelis 23. A nine-point victory can quickly change a driver's fortune and with only two events left in the 16-race season — Monza in Italy on September 12 and Las Vegas on September 25 — the
