Walker wins Nice race
NZPA Nice, France New Zealand’s John Walker won the men’s 2000 m event at an international athletics meeting at Nice last night, with a time of 4min 58.715. He pipped the American. Steve Scott, whose time was 4:58.72. America’s Todd Harbour came third with 4:59.28.
