Waterbeds for hospital
Orthopaedic patients at Burwood Hospital will benefit from two waterbeds to be given by the Lioness Club of Pegasus. The club, the first Lioness Club to be chartered in Christchurch, raised the money for the two beds at a fair held in New Brighton in February. The beds cost $7OO each. They will be used in the role of preventive medicine by frail aged people. The beds will be handed over to ward' three at the hospital on August 3.
