Trial for historian
Historian Karel Bartosek, a signatory of the Charter 77 Human Rights Manifesto, who has applied to emigrate to France, will go on trial on July 15 for "incitement to rebellion," he announced in Prague. He was accused of expressing opposition to the state of siege in Poland and of attempting to change the opposing views of a taxi driver and two co-passengers who disagreed with him. — Prague.
