Noted actor dies at 67
NZPA London The English actor. Kenneth More, died last night at his London home. He was 67. Mr Moore, the star' of film classics such as "Reach for the Sky" and “Genevieve," had suffered from Parkinson's disease for a number of vears. His portrayal of the air ace. Douglas Bader, who fought his way back into fighter cockpits' after losing both legs, earned critical acclaim, and he won equal acclaim for his roles in such films as "North-West •Frontier."- "Sink the Bismark." and "The ThirtyNine Steps." His notable career on the stage included roles in "The Winslow'Boy." “The Admirable Grichton” and "The Secretary Bird." More recently he took the television role’s of Father Brown.,and Young Jolyon in "The Forsyte Saga."
