Wrong chairman
PA Wellington The Under-Secretary for Internal Affairs (Mr Thompson) was incorrectly named on Monday as the chairman of the Government ‘caucus economic committee which recommended the introduction of value added tax in New Zealand. In fact, the '■ommittee is chaired by the member of Parliament for Tarawera, Mr lan McLean.
