One of the last two major components for the new potline at the Tiwai Point aluminium smelter, a potline reduction assembly, before being loaded on a transporter yesterday at the Christchurch firm of Andersons Engineering, Ltd. Standing in the 10-tonne assembly is Mr John Flynn, a member of the company’s staff. Andersons Engineering has made 206 major components for the potline in a $9 million contract which started last August.
