Taranaki defeats tourists
PA New Plymouth Taranaki regained winning form after three losses earlier this season with an 18-14 win over the French Club Beziers yesterday.
It was the first match of a three-match tour for Beziers.
the French club champion for eight of the last 10 years. But the side were fairly rusty yesterday ■ and Taranaki made the most of a strong bitterly cold wind in the second half Taranaki led 6-4 at half-time.
