Wimbledon draw
NZPA London Russell Simpson of New Zealand will play Britain's John Lloyd in the first round singles at Wimbledon. Fellow New Zealander Chris Lewis meets J. Goes of Brazil. Simpson gave the Wimbledon champion John McEnroe a hard fight in the recent
Greater Manchester men's singles at Didsbury, making the American work all the way for his 6-3. 6-7.10-8 win. Lewis was beaten yesterday in his first round match against the Australian John Alexander in the Lambert and Butler men’s tennis championships at Bristol. Lewis went down 6-3, 6-7,6-3.
