Opposition to P.L.O.
PA Wellington The Israeli Ambassador in Wellington. Mr Yaakov Morris, on Saturday renewed his opposition to a Palestine Liberation Organisation office in New Zealand, in the light of Friday’s assassination attempt on the Israeli Ambassador in London. Mr Shlomo Argov. Mr Morris said that “after the attempted murder of Israel’s Ambassador to St James I hope that the Gov-
ernment of New Zealand will think again about the opening in this country of a P.L.O. information office. "The events in London are one further demonstration that the issue is not one of freedom of speech, but that wherever P.L.O. offices are established in the name of propaganda, they are usually a cover for political murder, not only against Israeli targets but against Arab targets as well.”
