Law firm wins appeal
PA Wellington An appeal by an Auckland law firm against a ■ High Court award of $10,250 for professional negligence has been allowed by the Court of Appeal. The Court comprised Mr Justice Cooke, Mr Justice McMullin, and Mr Justice Roper.
The appellant firm was Messrs Turner, Hopkins and Partners, solicitors, and the respondent, Bryan Morrell Rowe, an art dealer, of Auckland. The action arose from the handling of mortgages on a housing property.
