Indoor bowls results
Des Hobby and Bill Wagner, of the Woolsto’n club, won the Canterbury Workingmen's clubs' indoor bowls pairs championship at the Richmond club. They beat Hornby's P. Carson and G. Bean, in a final over 12 ends. The lead see-sawed in the final with Carson and Bean going five points ahead after two ends only to be a point behind after the' eighth end.
