Organisers needed
The Canterbury branch of the Royal Forest and Bird Protection Society is in dire straits, according to its secretary. Mrs K. C. Harrison.
The problem is finding enough organisers from its Canterbury membership of 2000. Three of the branch's 10 committee members, including the chairman. Dr K. M. Matthews, plan to stand down at the annual meeting oh Wednesday evening. June 9. ,
Mrs Harrison said that that would leave the branch with about four active members. when at least 20 were desirable to spread the workload. . ■ '
