Egg cartons
Sir—ln these days of more awareness of recyclable packaging and dump overcrowding, surely it would make good sense if the new moulded pulp egg cartons were made returnable. Egg crates made of a similar material, if not the same have been returnable for years and in these days of chasing specials to stretch the ■budget, I am sure the majority of housewives would appreciate the opportunity to cash in the egg cartons rather than crushing them for rubbish.— Yours, etc., JAN GLASS. June 1, 1982.
