Associates admitted
More than 20 Christchurch people have been admitted to membership of the Society of Accountants as associate chartered accountants. They are: Messrs P. W. Anderson, T. R. Brown, G. W. Deakins, L. J. Dick, G. J. Ell, G. L. Hansen, A. M. Henshaw. K. J. Johnson, P. G. McCormack, J. R. Mackey, D. L. Philpott, G. Rae ; R. N. Shaw, I. G. Singleton; P. M. Stribling, A. J. Tennent, K. J. Tregenza, J. N. Woodham, W. M. Wright, Mrs G. E. Claman, and Miss S. A. Clark.
Miss C. G. Bartlett, of Nelson, and Mr W. J. Cleine, of Timaru„ were also admitted. . The following members have been issued with a certificate of public practice entitling them to offer accounting services under the designation, chartered accountant: Mr M. J. O'Dea, of Nelson, Mr J. M. Abbot, of Christchurch, Mr L. B. Smith, of Hokitika, and Mr S. Gawler, of Timaru.
