‘Total clearance’ for Mr MacIntyre
Doctors had given the Deputy Prime Minister (Mr Maclntyre) a "total clearance" to resume full duties, said the Prime Minister (Mr Muldoon) yesterday. Mr Maclntyre had assumed his Ministerial portfolios again from yesterday. He had visited doctors on
Tuesday for his clearance after being restricted to light duties since he underwent surgery for an aorta ailment on April 7. Last month Mr Maclnytre was Acting Prime Minister while Mr Muldoon was overseas, but he did not hold any portfolio responsibilities.
