Petrol miser
By fitting the very economical HLE Metro engine into the latest version of the evergreen Mini, British Leyland has produced another petrol miser. In Britain the Mini City E and Mini HLE replace the Mini City and HL and both cars return more than 60 m.p.g. at a constant 56 m.p.h. Prices of the new versions are unchanged in Britian.
