Sporty Jaguar
A moi;e sporting version of the Jaguar XJS-HE coupe is said to be going into limited production, but it will not be built by Jaguar Cars, Ltd, an arm of British Leyland. Instead the car will be built by Forward Engineering, Ltd, a firm of Jaguar specialists in the Midlands. The. project, which is said i to have the blessing of the \ Jaguar hierarchy, is being master-minded by Brian Lister; the man responsible for the production of the Lister-Jaguar sports racing cars of about two decades ago.-, The late Archie ScottBrowrrwas the last man to win ’ Christchurch's Lady Wigram. Trophy, race in a sports car. It was a ListerJaguar. Subsequently an Aucklander, Ross Jensen, a prominent . racing driver years ago, went to Britain and raced with the official Lister-Jaguar racing team.
