Bandwaggon crashes
PA New Plymouth A husband and wife, members of two rock bands, are in Wanganui Hospital after a van carrying the bands’ equipment' crashed near Wanganui on Monday. Tim Mahon, vocalist and bass guitarist in the Auckland . group. Blam Blam Blam. who was driving the van. has a broken leg, while his wife Carol, drummer with the support group. Gurlz. suffered cuts and abrasions. Both are reported in a satisfactory condition. The groups’ agent expects their national tour to be abandoned.
