Brieleys extends offer
Brierley investments, Ltd, has extended its take-over offer for shares in Bing Harris and Co., Ltd, from May 31 to June 30. By Monday, acceptances had been received for 1,308.762 ordinary shares — 84.5 per cent of the ordinary shares not owned by Brierley Investments before the takeover offer. The company now owns 5,490,783 ordinary shares in Bing Harris; 96 per cent of the issued capital.
