‘Trader’ works well
Special correspondent Palmerston North London Trader looked sharp in training at Awapuni yesterday morning and there is no doubt that the top winter galloper will be at his best for the ANZAC Metric Mile here on Saturday. London Trader ran impressively on the inside trial which provided good footing. The weather has been fine this week with the course proper no worse than easy if there is no rain before Saturday.
London Trader hit out strongly from the 1000 m running the distance in Imin 3s, the last 600 m in 38s. He had something in reserve at the finish.
