Has drawn awkwardly, but that should not stop her gaining an overdue win. WAIPA BENHAR (Race 2), br c. 3jts by Le Fripon—Shakmate; trained by N. and K. Crawford at Matamata. Another good performance last start with fine fourth at Tauranga. Tough and overdue for win. WELLINGTON HEADFORD (Race 1), b g 7yrs by Sucaryl—Christine's Gold; trained at Hawera by W. P. Myers. Has' solid record in highweights this season and comes from a stable that has turned out well-schooled jumpers. Easy highweight winner at Otaki at his last start. WESTPORT KING ANTHONY (Race 9), b g. syrs, by King Canary—Tara Bell; trained by J. Parsons, Amberley. Looked close to winning form when second in stronger field at Riccarton on April 17.
