Simon, Garfunkel plan British tour
NZPA London Pop superstars Simon and Garfunkel — reunited after a separation of 10. years — flew to London on Sunday night to make plans for their first British concert in June. The American duo, famous for hits such as “Bridge over Troubled Water” and “The Sound of Silence,” arrived at Heathrow aboard a Concorde on a two-day promotional tour and described what it was like to be together again after a decade as solo performers.
Art Garfunkel said: “It’s kind of kicky. We’re having a lot of fun. The old feeling’s back again. Song writer Paul, Simon said: “It all stemmed from our concert in New York last September. We had a great time doing it and it was all very successful. So we both decided to go back to touring. “Our British concert will be some time in June, but I don’t think there is any firm date as yet.”
