S.I. Jaycees selected
Two South Island Jaycees selected in Christchurch on Sunday will be in the running for a’ place on an “international voyage of good will and understanding." Miss Karen Fox, of Christchurch, and Mr David Brown, of Southland, will go to Wellington in May for the final selection for the voyage. They will be judged, together with four Jaycees from the North Island, to select two who will represent New Zealand on the Jaycee Youth Voyage, 1982. Jaycee of Japan has invited New Zealand to send two Jaycees to Hong Kong in June to join 400 Japanese and young people from 65 countries on a sea voyage round Asia.
