Teen-ager sought
The police are looking for a Christchurch teen-ager who ran away from home on Thursday. Robert Eric Palmer, aged 15, of 57 Wainui Street, is 166 cm (sft 9in) tall, of thin build, with blond hair and blue eyes.
When last seen he was wearing blue jeans, a green jersey, and a silver wristwatch. He was wearing a blue back-pack which contained all his clothes. He should also have with him an old red bicycle with white mudguards and distinctive straight handlebars. His family say that Robert is a slow learner. He is in the fourth form at Burnside High School. Last year he had enjoyed being in a special work experience class where he had made many friends. This year he had been shifted into a normal slowlearners class and had been unable to make any new friends, his family said.
Anyone with information on Robert’s whereabouts should get in touch with the Christchurch police.
