New N.I. air service
PA Wellington A new commuter air service will start next month between Paraparaumu and Auckland. The Air Services Licensing Authority has approved an application by Associated Aviation, Ltd, for a scheduled air service on the route. Its licence will require at least two flights a week. A nine-seater Cessna 412 will be used on the service and the passenger fare will be $BO each way. The Air Services Licensing Authority will consider a Safe Air application for amendments to its Chatham Islands licence at a hearing on May 5. The application deals with the introduction of Argosy aircraft to the new airfield on the Chatham Islands.
