Schools and raffles
Sir,—l, too, disapprove of raffles as a means of raising money for schools but, when the Minister of Education, the Regional Superintendent, and the complainants come across with the equivalent money raised, plus the fees paid by parent” for “free” education, I’ll feel that, the complaints have some substance.—Yours, etc. AUBREY J.
