Contractor killed

PA Napier A Taupo bush contractor was killed on Wednesday when a dead tree fell on him while he was working alone in the Waimihea forest, 20 kilometres north of Iwatahi. He was Lawrence Edward Honey, aged 25. The Taupo police said the accident happened about 8 a.m. It appeared two windfall trees had; rolled against a dead tree Which had toppled on to Mr Honey.
