Lottery Board changes
PA Wellington The Minister of Internal Affairs (Mr Highet) has announced the appointment of two new members of the Lottery Board, Mrs Dorothy McNab of Balclutha and Mr John Todd of Wellington. Mrs McNabb has been involved in a wide field of community activities at both local and national level for many years and from 1970 to 1973 was a member of the Broadcasting Corporation. Mr Todd is managing director of Todd Motors, Ltd, a director of subsidiary companies. of Todd Motors, a director, of General Finance, Ltd, and chairman of the Investment Board of the Todd Foundation. He is also a past member of the Queen Elizabeth II Arts Council and a member of the New Zealand Ballet and Opera Trust Board.
The appointments are for three year terms. Mr ’ Highet said the vacancies arose from the retirement of two of the board’s longest serving members, Mr Harold Austad and Brigadier James Burrows.
