Sir,—We have hide-away clothes lines, “cord-a-matic” vacuum cleaners and roll-away garage doors, so perhaps we could have extendable fences round our swimming pools or net-covers on the same principle — part permanent and part retractable for a free swimming area: An idea for the safety-first pool owner giving minimum distraction. — Yours, etc., A.
